Well I'm back at home from a vacation getaway trip with my family.

We drove all the way to California and back to Texas.

On vacation we first went to Hollywood. We were actually going to stop in Phoenix, Arizona for the night but decided to drive all the way to Hollywood and stay an extra night. It was magnificent! We went to Universal Studios- it was my first time- and took a tour to see the movie and televison sets. We took a tour through Beverly Hills and Belair, I wish I was rich like them.

We visited the Hard Rock Cafe there as well on the city walk in Universal Studios, and it is amazing.

Afterwards we drove to San Franscisco and stayed at the Marriott right smack in the middle. Since I live in Texas I'm use to the heat, but when I stepped out of the car at the hotel, I was so cold. Frankly, I like 100's better than 50's.
Their was so much to do, and this was the majority of the trip so we stayed about 5 days. For sure we went to Pier 39 and Fishermans Wharf. Alot of Seagulls out there, and they were sitting on top of moving cars.

We took a tour boat to the Golden Gate bridge and Alcatraz island. (Alcatraz used too be an island with a prison which no one could escape, but due to the salty air from the water it began to break down and they moved the criminals away.) While at Fishermans Wharf we ate at San Fransciscos Hard Rock Cafe. The day before we left we went to Golden Gate Park and saw the Japanese Garden, which was gorgeous, and walked through the Rose Garden. But of course before we left we just had to have a ride on the Tram cars and visit The Cheesecake Factory.

On our way back to Texas we stopped for the night in Las Vegas. Since it was just for the night we couldn't do much but I can tell you the "Sin City" never sleeps. We saw the Hard Rock Cafe, naturally. We saw the fountain Bellagio. Ceasars Palace was nice and the Venetian Hotel was pretty, but smelled like perfume.

Overall my vacation was great though I would've liked to sleep in more. Half the time my parents were pestering me about what I wanted to do for my birthday coming up.
